Essential Information About Tuberculosis and Patients’ Rights
This educational booklet provides essential information about TB; Mozambican Ministry of Health policies around prevention, diagnosis and treatment of TB; and the rights of people living with TB – with the goal being to empower patients, community members and health workers to identify and resolve barriers to access and improve the quality and humanization of health services.
A note on our name
This resource dates from our time as Namati Moçambique. In 2026 we became Matimba, an independent Mozambican organisation. The work described here is ours; only the name has changed.
